Restaurant Gastronomique Alain Llorca was booked solid for two weeks when I tried getting a reservation,
Finally, last Friday, I drove up from Nice to La Colle sur Loup and discovered the reasons for Lain Llorca being one of the hottest tickets in the South of France, particularly the Cote d’Azur and people living in Nice since the restaurant is just 15 minutes away.
The cuisine of the 1 Michelin star restaurant is excellent and the service impeccable, from the car valet to the service staff including the Maitre d’, waiters and waitresses, and Chef Sommelier.
Another reason for the popularity of Restaurant Alain Llorca is the breathtaking view of the village of Saint-Paul de Vence from the balcony. Talk about location.

A must-have at Alain Llorca is their signtuare Foie Gras de la Maison Mitteault. Shaped like an onion, it is not only delicious but so creatively presented.
When our group visit on 3 May 2022, France would be completely open. This coming 28 February 2022, the country is lifting the requirement to mask up indoor.
