Greetings from London where I arrived Saturday as today, Monday 6 May 2024, is the first judging day of Decanter World Wine Awards, founded back in 2004 by the late Steven Spurrier (1941 – 2021) and Sarah Kemp, a former publisher of the publication.

When some of you attended our Sherry Tasting at ProWine Singapore 25 April 2024, the four wines were winners of last year’s DWWA 2023.
I will be organising the postponed Tawny Port Tasting and once the date and venue are confirmed, will communicate them to you.
Those of you who had signed up for that tasting (which was to have included the Ports), please accept our sincerest apologies again for the Tawnies being held up because of clearance problems, preventing them from being tasted with the Sherries.
I hope, as many of you as possible, will come along to taste the delicious Tawnies.
As the tasting is targeted for 50 participants, should there be any vacancies, we will open those up to other readers.
