This is the white wine of Chateau Lagrange, the Third Growth of St-Julien. In 2017, because of the spring frost, 90% of production was lost. As such, the 6 hectare vineyard only produced a thousandbottles. Chateau Lagrange decidednot to sell any Arums de Lagrangeand kept the entire 2017 production to be used for events and to be served at the Suntory-owned estate. The blend is 60% SauvignonBlanc, 20% Sauvignon Gris, and 20% Semillon. The wine is fermented entirely in oak barrels, 40% of which is new, and aged in them for 6 to 7 months. Grapefruit, lime zesty, and tropical fruit. Ripe, round and fresh.
