Great Champagne Tour 2021

WELCOME TO EDITION 822 of GRAPEVINE

Lunch – Friday 29 October 2021 – will be at Chateau de Louvois, the spiritual home of Champagne Laurent Perrier

Last week, we announced our Great Bordeaux Tour 2021 will take place 1 to 4 November.

I am equally delighted to now inform, a few days before that, there will also be our Great Champagne Tour 27 – 29 October 2021.

Champagne Perrier-Jouet
Champagne Delamotte
Champagne Krug
Champagne Salon

Each tour has only 8 places.

Dinner and overnight at Champagne Perrier-Jouet’s iconic Maison Belle Epoque

In total control, Olivier Krug, direct descendant of Joseph Krug who founded the house in 1843

Dinner on the first night will be at the exclusive Hotel du Marc of Champagne Veuve-Clicquot

WHY NO CANCELLATION ALLOWED

Once a participant registers, he/she will have to front up 50% of the tour price no later than 31 July 2021.

No cancellation is allowed after this.

Except if France bars vaccinated travellers from Singapore to the country. In which case there will be a refund. Otherwise, no cancellation also means no refund.

I hope you don’t think it unreasonable for not allowing cancellation.

Most of you have to plan months ahead for such a trip even before Covid further complicated our lives.

If we were to allow cancellation after a person has reserved his/her place, when they cancel, it may be too late to recruit a new participant.

Not only won’t we be able to fill the vacancy, we would also be incurring expenses for transportation/meals/accommodation guaranteed in advance.
