Domaine d’Ardhuy Savigny-les-Beaune Aux Clous Premier Cru 2015

This relatively young estate took roots in 1947 when Gabriel d’Ardhuy met his future wife Eliane Andre at a harvest. Their union gave birth to the domaine and seven daughters. The sisters perpetuate the goals and aspirations of their parents. Domaine d’Ardhuy’s spiritual home can be visited by prior appointment at www.ardhuy.com/oenotourisme-bourgogne/. Le Clos des Langres has a manor house and the 3. 15 hectares of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are a monopole. It was first planted in the 10th Century by monks of the Cluny Order. This Sauvigny-les-Beaune Premier Cru is packed with persistent raspberry fruit. The tannins are utterly silky. Bright, lifted, elegant Pinot Noir that is what Burgundy should be all about. Stunning!
