Philipponnat 1522 Grand Cru 2014

The year 1522 refers to when the first Philipponnat settled in the village of Aÿ. One of the oldest families of the region, Philipponnat will celebrate 500 years of its link to Champagne next year in 2022. The prestige cuvée 1522 is produced entirely from Grand Cru fruit of the greatest vineyards of the house. Partly fermented in wood, this exceptional Champagne does not go through malolactic fermentation in order to maintain its freshness. Aged eight years on lees to enhance its complexity, the dosage is a very low 4.25 g/l. Philipponnat 1522 Grand Cru 2014 is comprised of 81% Pinot Noir and 19% Chardonnay.

Amour de Deutz 2011

One of the finest Blanc de Blancs Champagnes there is, Amour de Deutz is a prestige cuvée and includes Grand Cru fruit from Avize, Le Mesnil sur Oger, and Oger. Aged 9 years on lees, this pristine, elegant, complex wine has taken on a delicate buttery/creamy texture. Champagne Deutz was founded in 1838 and is based in the Grand Cru village of Aÿ. Today, it is owned by the Roederer Group. Champagne Deutz is the house champagne of the Peninsula Group of Hotels.

Champagne Thienot x Penfolds Blanc de Noirs Aÿ Grand Cru 2012

Released to celebrate 175 years of winemaking at Penfolds, Champagne Thienot x Penfolds Blanc de Noirs Aÿ Grand Cru 2012 is a limited edition. It comprises fruit entirely from the famed “Chambre aux Loups” plot in the Grand Cru village of Aÿ. An Extra Brut with a very low dosage, this collaboration between Champagne Thienot and Penfolds is of the exceptional 2012 harvest, a vintage now ranked alongside two other great vintages, namely 2002 and 1996.
