Albert Toh hosted friends to one of his favourite restaurants. Terra on 54 Tras Street is on the fringe of Chinatown and Singapore’s Central Business District.
Terra is an Italian Japanese restaurant. Their website – www.terraseita.com – describes itself as Tokyo Italian or “Japanese Food Culture in Italian Cuisine”.
That’s quite a mouthful – of delicious food – and maybe we will just stick to Terra.
Fresh, fleshy, juicy langoustines from Norway
Chef Proprietor Seita Nakahara is a 20-year veteran whose journey has taken him into the kitchens of Italian restaurants in Tokyo, Tuscany, Sicily, Piedmont and, now, Singapore.
Terra is omakase dining and there are three menus up for grabs over lunch and dinner.
Apart from hosting dinner, Albert Toh served this outstanding Pomerol.
