Regarded by aficionados as the finest producer of Prosecco, this Nino Franco rosé sparkling is not such a wine as it is not made not from glera, but from merlot (80%) and cabernet franc (20%). The harmony between fruit, dryness and freshness is remarkable. Seamless. Light pink with a blush of bronze. Grapefruit, pink guava and delicate red fruits. Delicious as an aperitif and with sushi, tempura, braised/deep fruit doufu, Cantonese dim sum and Huaiyang cold dishes.
