Mooncakes, Johnnie Walker Blue Label, and Abalone 

Forum Restaurant 1977 Hong Kong is collaborating for the first time with Johnnie Walker to release three limited-edition mooncake gift sets. Available exclusively at Forum Restaurant from now, redemption at Forum Restaurant 1977 begins from Tuesday 20 August 2019.

The three gift sets all contain Johnnie Walker Blue Label Whisky, Spanish Iberico Ham Mooncake, and – for two of the gift sets – a can of Abalone in Supreme Sauce.

Celebrating the first collaboration with Forum Restaurant, Johnnie Walker held a press conference for the launch at Forum Restaurant on 2 August 2019.

At the press conference, Brand Ambassador of Moët Hennessy Diageo Hong Kong and Macau Drew Mills (pictured) welcomed guests by introducing Johnnie Walker Blue Label. This was followed by Executive Chef of Forum Restaurant Adam Wong (pictured) giving a cooking demonstration.

During the demonstration, Chef Wong added a few drops of Johnnie Walker Blue Label into the sauce, thereby magnifying the aroma of the dish. The malty character of Johnnie Walker Blue Label also enhanced the flavour of the dried abalone.
