FairPrice Finest next Just Wine Club Dinner will feature multi-award winning boutique winery Ashbrook Estate of Margaret River.
Situated in Wilyabrup – regarded by many as the premier sub-region – Ashbrook is family-owned, family-managed and – founded in 1975 – one of the oldest stalwarts of Margaret River.
The Devitt Family, founder proprietor, only produces wine from grapes grown on their own 17-hectare vineyard. This makes Ashbrook Estate the grape equivalent of a Bordeaux chateau or Burgundy domaine.
A member of the Devitt Family will be coming out for our Singapore event. As wine consultant to FairPrice Finest (since 2000), myself will be host.

Ashbrook Estate Sauvignon Blanc
The 2012 vintage was a Top 100 Australian wine for critic Ray Jordan. The 2013 scored 94 points from James Halliday. As for the 2017, that won Silver at London’s International Wine & Spirits Challenge
Ashbrook Estate Riesling Gold Label
The 2014 vintage took Trophy for Best Riesling at the Perth Royal Wine of the same year. As for the 2017, that received 95 points from James Halliday
Ashbrook Estate Chardonnay
The 2012 vintage swept Double Gold at Japan’s Sakura International Wine Awards 2015 followed by Gold at the same competition a few years later for the 2016 vintage
Ashbrook Estate Shiraz
The 2013 vintage took Gold at the Margaret River Wine Show 2016 and Gold for the same vintage at Japan’s Sakura International Wine Awards 2017
Ashbrook Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2014 vintage scored 95 points from James Halliday while the 2015 vintage a Silver at Decanter World Wine Awards 2018
