Established since 1588, Croft is the oldest, continuous Port house and the first to come out with a Pink Port in 2012. Macerated for about 6 hours, the cherry pink Port is light and shows red berry fruit. The sweetness is delicate rather than rich. In fact, Croft encourages you drink it with ice or with soda or tonic water. It’s better is on its own, without ice or any other addition. If you decide to splash it with soda or tonic water, the former is a better option rather than the latter, sweeter addition to a wine that is already fortified. Serve and enjoy this chilled. Croft Pink Port is 19.5% in alcohol.
Croft, the oldest Port house founded in 1588, is based in Quinta da Roeda.
