The purity, intensity, and persistence of this pure pinot noir is impressive and made me sit up – figuratively – as soon as I tasted it. I offered a glass to Camilla, a waitress related to the Forlino Family that own No Menu, and although standing, she was visibly knocked back by how delicious this is. Red fruits including raspberries, Brut Tradition is winey, textured, full-bodied, but also with freshness. The Baudry Family has been growing grapes and making wine in the Cote des Bar since 1660. Today, the 11th Generation continuing the tradition are Arne and Jose. The brothers practised sustainable viticulture and the rewards are amply revealed in the wine.
