The Bonnie Family property is one of the jewels of Bordeaux’s rich cultural heritage.

A Graves Grand Cru Classé near the city, Malartic-Lagraviere won the Best of Wine Tourism 2020 award.

The re-opening includes the following features:

  •  Online bookings via website
  • Open every Saturday from 29 May + some public holidays
  • Chef in residence for cookery classes
  •  The Four Seasons of Malartic* lunch
  •  Outdoor tour, adapted to health guidelines (tours for private groups can also be arranged)

Severine Bonnie is in charge of communications at the family-owned estate. Next to her is Chef Christophe Bergeon

The outdoor tour consists of a stroll through the Malartic vineyard and estate, highlighting the measures the Bonnies and their team have taken to preserve the environment. From the Malartic Farm (including horses and other animals) to the vineyard’s gravel hilltop, the woods, glades, flower meadows, and award-winning gardens, visitors will have a direct experience of the property’s ecosystem and the abundant life it supports. Other tours include Discovering Grape Varieties and Cheese & Wine Workshop.

*The Four Seasons of Malartic was just released this month, May 2021. Written by the Bonnie Family during the lockdown, The Four Seasons of Malartic features family recipes. The book is available in French and English at Mollat and the Machine à Lire in Bordeaux and on the website of Malartic-Lagraviere.
