21 TO 14 DAYS

TRAVEL UPDATE

21 TO 14 DAYS

Effective today 24 June 2021, all new travellers arriving to Singapore from Covid high-risk places and countries will have their quarantine reduced from 21 to 14 days.

Singapore regards all places and countries as high-risk except Australia, Brunei, Hong Kong, Macau, China and New Zealand.

Starting 27 June 2021, apart from having to be quarantined in designated accommodation, such arrivals must take an antigen rapid test on the third, seventh and 11th day of their quarantine.

These self-test kits will be issued at the designated quarantine accommodation.

The Singapore Ministry of Health had found no evidence from both overseas and local data that new Covid variants have longer incubation periods.

Of 270 imported cases since the 21-day quarantine was imposed on 8 May 2021, all had incubation periods well within the 14-day window.
