Master of Rosé
Drinks Business, the trade publication, has just announced the winners of their annual Global Rosé Masters competition.
Nearly 200 entries were judged. They were tasted blind at Beach Blanket Babylon Restaurant and Bar in London on 16 April 2019.
Bronze, Silver and Gold medals are awarded. We reproduce part of the results below.
The ultimate accolade is Master which, in the words of the organiser, is only “given only to exceptional wines”.
Of the four Masters, the lion share went to Chateau d’Esclans in the village of La Motte in Provence. Their Whispering Angel also took Gold. The owner of Chateau d’Esclans is Sacha Lichine.
