This Thursday 31 October, Nino Franco, the greatest producer of Prosecco, will be marking its centenary, one hundred years of gazillion bubbles. The occasion will be marked by people around the world. Their hosts will be Primo & Annalissa Franco and their daughter Silvia. Apart from the winery, the family are also owners of Villa Barberina. The 18th Century Venetian villa is a spacious four hectares which include vineyard, park, swimming pool, rooms and access to nearby wineries including, of course, Nino Franco. Every room has an en suite bathroom. Villa Barberina is 10 km from Cornuda train station and 30 minutes from the town of Feltre. There are six bedrooms. The common area includes saloons, library, and dining room. Naturally, there is also Nino Franco Prosecco in the fridge.
