Chateau Lagrange Chief Winemaker & General Manager Matthieu Bordes and Min Jiang Chef CHAN Hwan Kee
Welcome Matthieu Bordes to Singapore for the first time in three years!
Thank you for visiting Singapore to be Guest-of-Honour at three dinners and conduct a tasting for committee members of Disciples of Escoffier International Singapore Delegation on 28 October 2022.
Goodwood Park General Manager CHEONG Hai Poh hosted lunch for presenters and management of Capital Radio 95.8 and Matthieu Bordes
Chateau Lagrange Chief Winemaker & General Manager showed their 2002 vintage over lunch at Min Jiang Restaurant. The red was decanted 60 minutes and opened up with blue/blackberry fruit of good intensity, crisp ripe tannins, and a persistent finish. We finished the bottle in very little time.
The Saint-Julien is one of only three reds to be featured next month at the ICCCW Welcome Dinner Friday 25 November 2022.
Chateau Lagrange 2002 will be served with Pan-Seared Chicken Cutlet with Almond Flakes followed by Chateau Pichon Comtesse 2002 with Braised Spare Rib in Chef’s Blended Sauce and then Chateau Leoville Barton 2002 with Slow Braised Beef Brisket, Tendon & Radish with Noodles.
The trio are three of the best 2002 of the Left Bank and have been selected because, this year, they will be exactly at 20 Years Old.
Seats are still available and, if you wish, you can form your own table of 4 or table of 7.
(you may, if you wish, nominate another person to attend the tasting)
