Stay away from loud speakers, including (from left) Jair Bolsonaro, Donald Trump, and Boris Johnson.
Covid 19 spreads via respiratory fluids.
In a new study by the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America published on 13 May 2020, it was discovered that speaking in a loud voice generates larger droplets and in greater quantities.
The study also found that droplets can stay suspended in the air for up to 14 minutes and that saliva virus droplets vary between individuals.
Some people have a higher viral load and may produce several thousands more virus particles and droplets than others.
Moral of the story?
Avoid the company of people who speak loudly.
Silence is golden.
