Lacroix-Martillac 2014 will be waiting. Comprised of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, the evolved fruit has an added sandalwood/tobacco/leathery note balanced by silky tannins and an insatiable freshness. Delicious on its own, this red Bordeaux is exceptional with chicken, duck, lamb, beef and mushroom dishes. Decant 60 minutes and enjoy this around 20° Celsius (but not chilled).
