Champagne Duval-Leroy Export Manager and Brand Ambassador Charlotte Borry-Castagnio with Imperial Treasure Super Peking Duck Asia Square Restaurant Manager Erica Ng and Edmund Ching.

Charlotte Borry-Castagnio is Champagne Duval-Leroy’s Export Manager and Brand Ambassador.

On 14 November 2019, over dinner, she guided a group of us through five Duval-Leroy Champagnes.

Family-owned and fully independent, the sixth generation of the family is in charge today, led by Caroline Duval-Leroy.

This coming Friday 29 November 2019 in Singapore, you will be able to enjoy four of them at special prices at The ExciseMan.

Champagne Duval-Leroy Brut S$98 + 7% GST

Ripe pineapple/citrus fruit with three years on lees before disgorgement. That’s twice the legal requirement of 15 months. Full-bodied and fresh, delicious as an aperitif, this full-bodied brut is equally versatile to pair with finger foods. Comprised of 75% pinot noir and 25% chardonnay.

Champagne Duval-Leroy Rosé Prestige Premier Cru S$128 + 7% GST

This Premier Cru rosé derives its pink blush from a combination of adding still red wine and saignee or bleeding juice with the skin of the black grapes to white wine. Chardonnay comprises 20% of the blend to give it added freshness and vivacity. Strawberry fruit that is very elegant.

Champagne Duval-Leroy Cumieres Pinot Noir Premier Cru 2005 S$128 + 7% GST

Mid-gold in colour, this 100% pinot noir was also aged 100% in used, old oak barrels. A mature, evolved, complex Champagne that has hints of Manzanilla, dried citrus peel, and barrel-aged apple cider. Only 6 bottles available from 6 pm to 6 people this coming Friday 29 November 2019 at The Exciseman, Level 2, Esplanade, Singapore.
