Yiu bagged the award “for providing insights and in-depth analysis” for three of her articles in the South China Morning Post – a comparison of the economic damage caused by 122 days of Sars and social unrest; a behind the scenes story of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing‘s failed bid to take over the London Stock Exchange; and, why Shenzhen will not be able to replace Hong Kong as a financial centre.
