On Tuesday 24 February 2026, Assemblage Dinner XXXIX will serve magnums of Clos du Mont-Olivet Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2000 and Chateau Latour a Pomerol 1995.
The two magnums are from Assemblage Founder CH’NG Poh Tiong’s cellar.
The magnum of Chateau Latour a Pomerol 1995 was purchased in Singapore in 1998. It went directly from the chateau via Etablissements Jean-Pierre Moueix (proprietor also of the chateau) to Riche Monde Singapore, a company now defunct but at one time also direct importer of Chateau Trotanoy and Petrus.
At the dinner, participants will also enjoy Chateau Rongzi Marselan 2024. CH’NG Poh Tiong is consultant to Chateau Rongzi and also, together with their Chief Winemaker ZHANG Huining, was responsible for blending their Marselan 2024.
It is the first time Chateau Rongzi has produced, with Poh Tiong’s urging, a Marselan without any oak contact in order to fully realise and accentuate its violetty floral charm, persistent deep blue black fruit, and supple, suave, smooth tannins.
