CH’NG Poh Tiong
WAN Jiasheng, who holds a Master’s degree from the Burgundy School of Business, was born in Fuzhou and joined Shang Palace, Shangri-La Paris, in September 2019 as Sommelier
WAN Jiasheng was born in Fuzhou, capital of Fujian Province.
In 2018, the Chinese enrolled for a sommelier course at l’Université du Vin in Suze la Rousse (20 km north of Orange, in the Rhone Valley). Founded in 1978, the University of Wine is located within the stunning 12th Century Chateau Suze la Rousse.It has to be one of the most unique and beautiful sommelerie schools in the world.
In 2018 and 2019, Wan Jiasheng completed the Level I, II, and III courses of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, and is presently pursuing Level IV Diploma.
The young man also holds a Master’s degree in International Business of Wines and Spirits from the Burgundy School of Business. Wan Jiansheng joined Shang Palace, Shangri-La Paris, as Sommelier in September 2019.
