Pandemic Update!
PORTUGAL REOPENS
Quinta do Noval in the Douro
Starting this weekend Saturday 30 May 2020, you can visit the vineyards of the Douro and UNESCO World Heritage Site Porto (aka Oporto) without having to be quarantined upon arrival.
‘Portugal’s health system responds well, and this is very important for us to be able to welcome people,’ Portugal’s Foreign Minister Augusto Santos Silva said.
Unlike EU neighbours Spain and Italy, Portugal has not been as badly hit by the coronavirus pandemic.
Coffee shops, museums, cinemas and restaurants have already been opened since 18 May 2020.
Hotels will re-open and allowed to have two-third capacity.
