Zevita Ng, Winner, Young Talents Escoffier “Service Category” Singapore 2024
Zevita NG Pei En is a third-year Republic Polytechnic student pursuing a Diploma in Restaurant and Culinary Operations.
Winner of YOUNG TALENT ESCOFFIER SINGAPORE 2024 “SERVICE CATEGORY”, the young lady is beginning an internship to further her studies in a commercial environment.
Ng is very eager to challenge herself in the real world. Her studies have taught her to research, analyze, create and execute marketing solutions.
Zevita Ng also has a wide range of interests and accomplishments.
In 2021, she received a Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate Level 1. For three years between 2018 and 2021, she was the Section Leader (playing trumpet) in a concert band and led a team of 10 fellow musicians in weekly practice and to competitions. The young Zevita was able – during that same time in 2020 – to serve as a Team Leader in Worldvision Singapore creating motivational posters promoting sanitation health for teenage girls in Third World countries.
Commitment is very important to Zevita Ng.
For six months in 2023, she was a SG Healthcare Corps Volunteer at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital whose skills included dressing wounds as she has a Certificate in Basic Support Care.
More recently – April 2024 – Zevita Ng was Assistant Programs IC on a 10-day Service Learning Trip to Ho Chi Min, Vietnam, to conduct English lessons and plan and host games for over 200 children of different abilities and age groups.
Even as she continues her studies, Zevita Ng is no stranger to the commercial world. She is able to prepare drinks, handle cash and credit card transactions, having worked as a Part-Timer at Au Croissant (Aperia Mall), Bakeaholic (Wheelock Place), Esquina (16 Jiak Chuan Road), and Awfully Chocolate (Great World City) where she received a 80% customer satisfaction rating on an average month.
