Champagne Albert Lebrun Premier Cru Brut

Founded in 1860, the House of Lebrun is situated in the Champagne Grand Cru Village of Avize, and owned by the G H Martel Group that belongs to the Rapeneau Family. Composed of 6% Pinot Meunier, 26% Pinot Noir, and 68% Chardonnay including from the prestigious Grand Cru village of Chouilly. Fruity on the nose and palate. Appley, citrus, and a hint of tropical fruit. Remarkable intensity, vitality and persistence. Medium-plus bodied with an unbelievable zesty fresh finish. Kudos to NTUC FairPrice Wine Buyer Richard Chai for bringing this into Singapore. Exclusive and available at all FairPrice FINEST stores at S$79. I declare my interest as consultant to the supermarket chain.
