CH’NG Poh Tiong
As wine labels go, there are scarce few more dramatic. This Baroque painting of Saint Urban first graced a Knoll family bottle in 1962. It is arguably the most recognisable wine label in Austria. Not just the label, the wine is very good too. Ripe fruit including a tropical aspect but also a hint of peach. Slightly beewaxy and with a glycerol texture. Lots of round freshness. Richness and freshness. Balanced, outstanding, and can’t-put-down.
