Dining on Level 25

Visitors to 5 (Fraser Road) ON 25 (Level) might think they are savouring a meal at Summer Pavilion. 

That misunderstanding is understandable. 

Chef LIM Hong Lih was Assistant Chinese Chef at the Ritz-Carlton restaurant before going over to Andaz Singapore.

The Malaysian from Johore has moved up in more ways than one. Apart from the job promotion, Chef Lim has also moved higher in elevation. Whereas his previous workplace was ground level, he is now twenty-five storeys closer to the sky.

The décor, room, plating on the table, and lighting at 5 ON 25 are more contemporary. And then there are the breathtaking views!

The food is excellent and Restaurant Manager Bill Chen and his team ensure the service is just as accomplished as the cuisine.

Wines by the Glass are poured 150 ml or five glasses to the 750 ml bottle. Some bottles are uber fresh courtesy of Coravin.

5 ON 25 is particularly busy during lunch as Andaz Singapore, being near Beach Road and North Bridge Road, is surrounded by commercial offices. 

Dinner time is less bustling.

That may not be the situation for long given the quality of the food, tasteful setting, wonderful ambience and engaging service.
