In fact, I am staying along Regent Street, the beating and shopping heart of the English capital.
Fortnum & Mason is just a stroll away.
Just before that, you will find Hatchards, which has been lovingly selling books for more than 300 years!
The Christmas lighting is not, like in my country Singapore, sponsored by commercial interest.
The British can hold their heads higher that they did not sell out to Disney and Hitachi the streets of London, to stick their logos on the decorations.
Pride is a wonderful thing that money can’t buy.
