CH’NG Poh Tiong
Owned by DBR or Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) since 1990, the family regard 1995, 1996, 2000 and especially 2005 as the very best vintages in their first 15 years of ownership. This Pomerol is magnificently youthful, the sweetness of fruit still very primary, showing figs and hints of a young Vintage Port. The tannins are very ripe and equally rich. Remarkable concentration, intensity, persistence, and vivacity.
