Our inaugural Chinese Art • Champagne • Bordeaux Dinner took place Wednesday 14 April 2021 in the Chong Qing Private Room of Min Jiang, Goodwood Park Hotel Singapore.
The food and service were outstanding.

The best way to sum up how good the wines were would be to quote the late British statesman himself.
“My tastes are simple. I am easily satisfied with the best”
Before dinner commenced, Goodwood Park Hotel Singapore General Manager CHEONG Hai Poh came by to say hello.
The four cuvées of Champagne Pol Roger were kindly sponsored by their distributor Monopole, represented by their founder Michael Chong.
Also present was Singapore’s favourite and most famous muralist YIP Yew Chong who recently held two exhibitions of his paintings at the Substation and Sofitel Singapore City Centre.
The art piece for the evening is about 2,000 years young, a “Money Box” pottery from the Eastern aka Later Han Dynasty (25 AD – 220 AD).
