The Stone of Destiny is also referred to as The Coronation Stone in England
I know of no other whisky – grain and malt blend, pure/blended malt, or single malt – which age is a minimum 21 years except Royal Salute.
Inspired by, and dedicated to, the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, the blended Scotch whisky was launched on 2 June 1953.

Royal Salute 21 Years Old The Malts Blend 
This is a truly inspired gem. The Malts Blend is a harvest of the malt whisky of 21 distilleries! The rich palate includes stone fruit, pears, even a hint of peat. Or was it my imagination? Creamy, textural, with a crack of spice on the finish. Bottled at 40% ABV.
Royal Salute 25 Years Old The Treasured Blend
A full-bodied whisky ideal as a digestif. Cinnamon, liquorice, chocolate, and the sparks of a bonfire. First introduced in 2019 for the Duty-Free market. Bottled at 40% ABV.
Royal Salute 26 Years Old Scottish Oak Cask Finish 
This is the first time Royal Salute is using (new) Scottish oak cask to finish their whisky. Caramel, sweet, and very toasty. I find the oak woody and too dominant. Bottled at 40% ABV.
Royal Salute 38 Years Old Stone of Destiny 
This was drawn out directly from the cask and tasted inside the Royal Salute Vault with Chivas Bros Global VIP Relationships Director Peter Prentice who is also a former Chairman of the Keepers of the Quaich. Perfume of sandalwood and rich sherried flavours. Majestic and explosive in the mouth. Deserves all of 6 stars! 40% ABV. The Stone of Destiny is an ancient oblong block of red sandstone used for centuries in the coronation of the monarchs of Scotland. In England, it is referred to as The Coronation Stone and was used on 2 June 1953 in the ascension of Elizabeth II.
