PANDEMIC UPDATE! Libraries & Museums Stay Closed • Beaches & Swimming Pools Can Reopen

This Friday 19 June 2020, Singapore will enter Phase Two of its lifting of lockdown.

Schools and tuition centres – with the exception of singing and voice training classes – will reopen completely.

Shops and retailers can also reopen.

Restaurants, food and beverage outlets, and hawker centres can allow for sit-down customers.

No more than five on one table with the necessary social distancing.

Tables must be spaced a metre apart.

Sale of alcohol and consumption will have to stop at 10.30 pm.

The relaxation does not apply to karaoke lounges and bars which will remain closed.

Gyms, swimming pools, bowling centres, playgrounds, beaches, lawns, fields, and sports hall can reopen.

Incredibly, libraries and museums have to remain closed.
