HIGHLAND PARK

Described as the whisky with the Viking Soul, Highland Park Viking Legend comprises three Single Malts.

Valkyrie was awarded Chairman’s Trophy Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2017 scoring 99 out of 100 points. Bottled at 45.9% alcohol, Valkyrie was aged in a combination of sherry seasoned European and American oak casks and ex-bourbon casks.

Valknut is the second in the Viking Legend series. It won Double Gold San Francisco Spirits Competition 2019. Bottled at 46.8% alcohol, and using a higher proportion of the Orkney’s local peated malt, it was matured in sherry seasoned European and American oak casks, and ex-bourbon casks.

Valfather is the final whisky in the Viking Legend series. It won Gold World Whisky Awards 2020. Valfather is the most peated whisky of the series. Bottled at 47% alcohol, it was aged entirely in Highland Park’s finest refill casks to ensure that all that peat is balanced with subtle layers of flavour and character.

The packaging for Viking Legend three Single Malts was created by Jim Lyngvild, the Danish designer and artist of international renown. Lyngvild’s 36th great grandfather was Ragnvald Eysteinsson, the first Earl of the Orkney Islands.
