Resuming Our Regular Bordeaux Dinner

Welcome to EDITION 715 of GRAPEVINE

We are resuming our regular Bordeaux Dinner here in Singapore next month.

And checking out the beautifully renovated Jade at The Fullerton. 

The hotel is actually the former General Post Office which the British had built.

I have fond memories of buying stamps and dropping off letters there. 

On Wednesday 14 November 2018, instead of that, we will be clinking glasses of the stunning Champagne Duval-Leroy Femme, white and red Bordeaux, a Limited Edition Single Malt called Big Peatblended especially for Singapore by Douglas Laing, and a surprise red which will, I believe, be the first to be opened in Singapore on that night.

I am also very keen to taste the garagiste Chateau Valandraud 2009as I am not very familiar with the St-Emilion. 

It still fetches high prices although not as astronomical as in its cult days.
