The world’s most famous sweet wine was launched two days ago.
YQUEM 2018 has been released at €225 per bottle by Bordeaux negociants to the international wine trade.
The 2018 vintage suffered a drop of around 40% normal production when a devastating hailstorm in July that year hit the south-western part of Sauternes.
Mildew between May and July also lowered the crop in 2018.
Quality is expected to be exceptional.
