Reflections 1

REFLECTIONS is a new column. Short and to the point. When you indulge in REFLECTIONS, I hope you go on to reflect on the point raised.

When I drink a wine and taste oak instead, I feel cheated, defrauded.

It’s like having a banana.

Instead of sinking our teeth into the flesh of the fruit, you chew banana skin.

Dry, tart and tannic.

Like a lot of wines.

Whether we eat a peach or drink wine, we want FRUIT!

How hard is that?

Hands up those who prefer to taste wood.
