Since Monday 16 May 2022, the wearing of a mask is no longer required in France whether outdoor, indoor, on public transport, including on a plane.
The only exception is hospitals where, if you visit, you have to mask up.
France has the most consistent Covid strategy in the world.
It is also possibly the only country where if you book a ticket to visit, the entry requirements will not change from the time you make the reservation and the moment you get on the plane.
There were 25,475 Covid cases in France two days ago on Tuesday 24 May 2022.
No one panicked, the government did not wet its pants, there was no lock down, and no mass testing.
