SPAIN TO RE-OPEN 1 JULY 2020

The ruins of the Scala Dei Carthusian Monastery. Built in the 12th Century, it lies near the winery of the same name. Located in Priorat, it is only about 120 km south of Barcelona.

Tourists can visit Spain without going into quarantine from July.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez went out of his way at a press conference to let the world know that Spain is ready to welcome them back to the country.

‘Spain receives more than 80 million visitors a year. I am announcing that from July, the entry of foreign tourists into Spain will resume in safe conditions.

‘Spain needs tourism and tourism needs safety in both origin and destination. We will guarantee that tourists will not run any risks, nor will they bring any risk to our country.’
