Singapore has just announced that beginning 11.59 pm Sunday 15 March, no one will be allowed entry to, or to transit in, Singapore who have been to Italy, France, Spain and Germany in the last 14 days.

At the same time, beginning also this Sunday 15 March, Singaporeans and Permanent Residents, who have been to Italy, France, Spain and Germany in the last 14 days will be issued with a stay-home notice (SHN).

They will have to stay home AT ALL TIME for 14 days upon returning to Singapore.

Spot checks will be made on those issued with a SHN.

Anyone caught not at home can be fined up to S$10,000 or jailed for up to 6 months. Or both under Section 21A of the Infectious Diseases Act.
